Take heart to treat your heart well.
The anatomy of the human body is so interesting to study the functionality.
It is funny how this little thing reminds me of one of the finest works of William Wordsworth:
“Who is the happy Warrior? Who is he
That every man in arms should wish to be?
—It is the generous Spirit, who, when brought
Among the tasks of real life, hath wrought
Upon the plan that pleased his boyish thought:
Whose high endeavors are an inward light
That makes the path before him always bright;”
I just laugh over this, when I hear myself recite this. I mean, our heart is an ever fighting warrior and oh yet it should remain happy. Because, if it isn’t then we are in serious trouble.
Amidst the rhythm of life our “little queen” goes through a lot.
Your feisty fistful little queen could weigh about 7-15 ounces.
No one knows why she is associated with love.
She beats around 100,000 times a day.
She works twice as hard as a leg muscle of the sprinter.
The first heart pacemaker was plugged into the wall socket.
No joking, happiness and strong sense of emotional vitality lowers the risk of her disease.
Exercise is the critical health tip to keep her all fine. It is free.
She has her own electrical supply and continues to beat on her own when separated from the body.
The heart pumps through 60000 miles of blood vessels.
Swamp up the lifestyle if it isn’t serving a healthy living and give it the benefit of change.
Taking into account that you all might be aware that the heart risks are more often found in obese people than those who aren’t. Yet we could contemplate this today as stress takes the upbeat along with fat as a major catalyst to many heart diseases.
Like one of your Avenger superheroes, Dr Strange storms it with the dialogue “The greatest gift you could ever receive is to have a chance once in the lifetime”. True as we surface our emotions and let it out of our systems, we at least understand the possibilities that we could face. In turn this reduces the stress, emotional torment, negative thinking and pressure on heart.
Reality is a bigger picture where being human is to emote what you feel, it is funny how we correlate all the emotions and feelings to our heart. Recently, while researching on health panels, few parables of yoga was brought to my notice. How interesting! The science of yoga is beyond than that meets the eye. Starting with “Surya Namaskar” to various different, simple and yet profound Asanas, the body changes we could observe and embark on.
Never take ourselves seriously, rather celebrate your living. Take those deep breathes and anticipate-emancipate for the positive outcome. We may not have the power of situation but we do have the power to respond, choose whatever serves our little queen better.
World’s best cardiologists say:
Many cardiologists across the world share their own way of reducing heart risks by maintaining health in specific ways, here are some we could share:
- One of the cardiologists writes her heart out, “ I keep a gratitude journal “. A study proves it all, where a person who maintained a journal and wrote down every single day for two months had reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease specifically lowering the inflammatory biomakers. – Nicole Van Groningen, MD, internal medicine physician at NYU.
Inflammatory biomakers: They are immune related defectors.
- “ I use a meal delivery service “, this is by far the universal law that everyone needs to adhere for the love of Christ. One should maintain or eat nutrient rich food to supply enough strength to heart and it’s vessels. – Nicole Van Groningen, MD, internal medicine physician at NYU.
- “I get 8 hours of sleep a night, every night” , “I meditate” , “I do crosslift” .
What is yours? Try and understand your body by hitting the balance between need over want/cravings.
King of Instagram
I am talking about butterfruits my millennials.
Spotlight, as this fruit is known for trending in the socio-fancy platforms for organic living, facials, milkshakes, rich protein pies, etc, holy! What not?
This reduces the saturated fats/ cholesterol in our body, one of the major concerns of heart attacks. Today, you have ample recipes trending everywhere on social platforms, blogs and many health related sites. Try getting those avocado spreads on your sandwich or on those crispy toast with a dash of olive oil.
The reason this fruit is considered as an antidote for heart diseases is due its chemical composition which indicates that it is in dietary fiber, Potassium, vitamins A, C & E, Magnesium, etc. The dietary fiber plays and pans out for the betterment of the body. It could aid in hormone deficiency.
Another reason to consider this fruit apart from the rich minerals and vitamins it composes of is what it doesn’t have. It is a sugar-free fruit, aiding to balance the lipoproteins in our bloodstream. As per the analysis, there are types of proteins, low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and high-density lipoproteins (HDL). Any imbalance in these two proteins could lead to cholesterol deposition in the arteries leading to coronary heart disease.
Hence, our little king is here to set the balance and help our little queen get the reigns of her health and rule the kingdom with all her might.
CROSSING THE BARRIERS
According to the spiritual dimension, the Heart Chakra is just another dimension of our being. As the “Hridaya yoga” claims that the spiritual heart is not just the spark of god but God himself. How fascinating!
Coming from one of the ardent spiritual saint, “ What is essential in any sadhana (spiritual practice) is to try to bring back the running mind and fix it on one thing only. Why then should it not be brought back and fixed in Self-attention (to this feeling of ‘I’)? That alone is Self-enquiry (atma vichara). That is all that is to be done!”. You are all there is, which is the heart of the matter.
There is something about our little queen who doesn’t necessarily play god but prays to one at the least.
Laughter is the best medicine for the heart. So serve the little queen with little laughter everyday.
